Man clings to man like a foetus to its mother’s muculent insides; tormented by the depravity of the unknown and of an outside abyss awaiting beyond the borders of experience, we clutch parasitically to the navel cord of uniformity tying us to our fellow being, we crave acceptance as we seep our grimy paws into society’s trough. Yet whilst we revel in that deliciously narcissistic saturnalia that is human existence, we battle against ourselves, for inches beneath the outer mask of the human skin, lies the human soul – solitary in its oneness, decaying under the strain of the very thing it feeds off, that glutinous milk of conformity.
